The table looked quite festive with flowers arranged in Grandma's beautiful cut glass bowl, a pretty cake,
and cookies! Some of the crowd gathered in the basement to cheer on the Boilers. Grandma understands where loyalty lies.

It was a great day celebrating with a full house, lots of fun, hundreds of photos, and plenty of love to honor Alberta on her special day. Grandpa was all tuckered out by the end of the afternoon, and had to take a quick little rest before supper.
Carol had suggested a photo of all the Purdue grads in Grandma and Grandpa's extended family. I think we had 25 dressed in black and gold and smiling for the camera.
(Un)Fortunately, we do have a few who have followed another educational path, so there was someone to take the picture! Hail Purdue! Look for the photo in the Purdue Alumnus sometime soon.
We attempted to get a picture of all the great-grandchildren, but had a little trouble "capturing" the shot.
