Jim celebrated his birthday this week, and we enjoyed dinner at two of our favorite restaurants. We went to El Reparo on Wednesday, and he even got to wear the sombrero with his fried ice cream.
On Thursday, Grandma and Grandpa took us to Stories, another favorite. They even called ahead to reserve my favorite pie. And it wasn't even MY birthday!
Jennifer was here to share the meal with us, since she was bringing Emma to stay while she goes to Texas for a wedding (and a visit to cousin Caroline) this weekend. We will continue the birthday celebration at the Purdue game on Saturday.
