Babe Let's Get Packed, Tank Tops and Flip Flops If You've Got 'Em

We left bright and early Monday morning for spring break in the Cayman Islands. Our first trip to Grand Cayman was over 25 years ago, and it has been a favorite spot for vacations ever since. And why not? Crystal blue water, sunshine, and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. At least what we've seen of the world.

Matthew and Jim were reading his 'Smarty Pants' questions while we waited to board the plane in Indy.
Haleigh was happy and ready.
Ella too!
Ella watched as our bags were loaded into the plane.
We left rain in Indy, ready for sunshine.
It was sunny above the clouds.
A brief stop in Charlotte,
a few bumps along the way, and we had the island in sight.
Sunny over Georgetown.
Matthew headed right for the beach.
Ella and her daddy enjoyed the water.
And the sand.
Sisters in the sand.
Ella LOVED the sand.
It looked good enough to eat.
Haleigh and Matthew using the buckets that have been coming with us to Grand Cayman for almost 25 years!
The view from my back door as day turned to evening.
Dinner was across the road at the Sunshine Grill.
One sleepy girl.
My delicious fish tacos.
Jon's old fashioned burger.
Haleigh spent the rest of the meal snoozing in the stroller. Looks like she is giving thanks for a lovely day.

Matthew was ready for some snorkeling this afternoon.
Big Jon supervised.
Matthew likes diving for big pieces of coral,
in that beautiful, blue, blue water.
I enjoyed a less strenuous activity. A good day.
Of course, every day at the beach is a good day.
