Celebrating Friday

Jim and I spent an enjoyable evening with Daryl and Ruthann sharing dinner in Ripley County at Ertel Cellars Winery.

It's fun to see the grapes growing right outside the restaurant. Inside, they offer wine tasting, which is very popular with their patrons.

Outdoor dining is available, weather permitting, and they have a great stone porch leading to the entrance. Here are Daryl and Ruthann with big smiles before dinner. Sorry I caught Daryl sleeping!

There are many wines available to complement a great selection of menu items.

Jim even got to relive his birthday with a couple of very humorous cards with a political slant.

Ruthann had the chicken.

Jim had some kind of fish.... tilapia I think.

Daryl's shrimp dish.

And finally, the beef. You can count on me to stick to the traditional filet.

Great food, great company, great conversation. A good time was had by all.
